Este ano, o Município de Haifa e a "Pencom" - Associação de Caricaturistas de Israel estão organizando o 16º Salão e exibição Internacional de Cartum.
Os prêmios serão:

Condições:

5. Os participantes devem embalar suas obras seguramente e envia-los ao Salão Internacional de Cartum cobrindo os custos. Os organizadores não são responsáveis por danos causados durante o transporte.
6. Ao participar deste evento, os caricaturistas concordam que os cartuns enviados sejam usados em exibições em Israel e no exterior.
7. Ao término da exibição em Haifa, os cartuns originais podem ser devolvidos à seus autores ( à pedido deste). A organização não é responsável por perdas ou danos dos cartuns originais.
8. Será publicado um Catálogo da exibição, com os melhores cartuns. Este será enviado aos melhores participantes, sem custos.

Regulamento
Informações Gerais
1) Tema: a.Estrada , b.Ponte
Objetivos: Construíndo estradas e pontes, reformas e reestruturação de estradas e pontes, tecnologia e modernidade nas construções de pontes e estradas.
2) O participante deve enviar uma obra original. Cartuns que já participaram de outros salões também serão aceitos.Os desenhos devem estar assinados pelo cartunista se enviado por computador. Fotografias, fotocópias e etc., não serão aceitos. Deve ser enviado também um CD com as obras digitais em TIFF em até 300DPI.
3) Dimensões: as obras não devem ultrapassar 29.7 x 42 cm (A3)
4) A organização não se responsabiliza por danos que possam ser causados durante o envio.

2010 RED MAN INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST - PRIZE OF LOVE

Disasters are striking the whole world again and again. The big earthquakes from time to time not only shocked the earth, but also shocked people's hearts in the meantime. Recently big earthquakes struck Haiti, Chile, China and some other countries. Disasters including flood in Brazil, snow disaster in America, draught disaster in southwest China and volcanic eruption in Iceland...happened one by one. Greenhouse effect brings more and more suffering to human beings. The earth is a big village and we are all the villagers. Let us devote our love, pray for the sufferers and bless them. Wish less disasters and more happiness to our earth!China Redman Center is always devoting itself to the public welfare. In the spring of 2008, Redman Center donated some books to the children in the mountain area in Qinghai Province, China. Teachers from Beijing University who went Qinghai to support the education took the books there to help the primary school to build the library. Recently, the earthquake happened in Qinghai pulled our hearts strings. We sincerely hope the children there are safe, healthy and tide the difficulty. In 2009, Redman Center designed the annuals for a Chinese charity without any charges. Our behavior is also supported by our coteries. In 2008, Mr.Quan Yingsheng from Heavy Comics denoted 20 cartoon books to us. We really appreciate his almsteed. One person’s ability is limited. If everyone can denote his love, the world will be much nicer.

Regulation
1. The contest is Open to all artists worldwide: cartoonists, caricaturists, painters, illustrators, etc. No limitation on the nationality, age, sex or occupation.
2. Theme: DISASTER (earthquake, flood, drought and snow disaster, etc.).
3. Entries: unlimited.
4. Size of the paper works is unlimited while the minimum size of the electronic works should be A4 and the resolution should be no less than 350 dpi.
5. Technique and medium of works are unlimited. Traditional Chinese Painting, Oil painting, Print, Watercolor or Children’s painting are all acceptable. Black and white or in colors.
6. The works whether they have been awarded in other contests previously will be accepted.
7. First name, Last name, Address, Email, Telephone number should be submitted together works. Or the author's entry-form and biography are needed.
8. Deadline for entries is July 7, 2010.
9. The works must be original. The authors should have full copyright and be responsible for all the legal responsibilities related to the productions copyright. The Foundation will not be responsible for any damage that may occur during postage and handling.

A cidade de Daejeon convida todos os cartunistas do mundo à partiparem do 19º Salão Internacional de Cartum de Daejeon - Didaco

II GRAPHIC HUMOR AND CARTOON BIENNIAL 2010 - CITY OF BOGOTA CONTEST

The Escuela Nacional de Caricatura de Colombia – CEATC - supported by the Directorate of Welfare of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, invite all colombian and foreign cartoonists to participate in the Second Graphic Humor and Cartoon Biennial - City of Bogota.
Terms of the Contest
1. Theme: Bicentennial of the Colombian Independence. The participating works must propose some thoughts through the universal language of humor about the meaning and significance of the Bicentennial celebration of independence of Latin American countries.
2. Open to all cartoonists, Colombians and foreigners who want to graphically express their vision of the subject.
3. The final admissions date for artwork is July 19, 2010. The exhibition of the winning works will provide a framework for forums and conferences on the contest theme.
4. Categories:
a) Professional. People who have published their work in printed media or on a regular basis on the Internet.
b) Amateur. People who have not published their work in printed media, written or audiovisual. Over 18 years.The envelope in which jobs are sent should be marked on the upper right corner with the letters P (Professional), A (Amateur).
5. Technique: Free.
6. Format: 50 x 35 cms. In physical or in digital media at 300 dpi, jpg format.
7. Amount: Maximum 2 works per author.
8. Awards: The awards will take place as follows:Professional category Single Award: 1.000 EurosCategories Amateur Single Award: Interactive graphic humor and caricature course, to a value of $ 725,000.
In addition, mentions will be delivered to some of the leading participants in the different categories.
9. Jury: Will be constituted by a team of three cartoonists, a historian and a social movements artist related to the theme of the independence bicentennial. They will select works for exhibition and will choose the winners in both categories, as well as works worthy of special mention. 5th DON QUICHOTTE INTERNATIONAL CARTOON CONTEST 2010"EUROPE-ASIA BRIDGE: ISTANBUL

Istanbul is the intersecting point of Europe and Asia, with a settlement history of three hundred thousand years, an urban history of three thousand years and a capital dating back to the 1600s. Istanbul has been a home to various civilizations and cultures thorughout history. Due to Istanbul's historical cosmopolitan and metropolitan structure it has attracted people with various religions, languages and races for centuries. It has now become one of the major touristic centers in the world.Istanbul hosted the Roman and Byzantinian Empires until Fatih Sultan Mehmet captured Istanbul from the Byzatines in 1453, which marked the rise of the Ottoman period. Historical areas of Istanbul were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985 and Istanbul was chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2010.The purpose of our competition is to study the European Capital of Culture: Istanbul from past to present through the art of caricature and project it to the world audience. The first cartoonist to be selected, will win a financial prize as well as a beautiful trip within Istanbul. The jury of this competition is formed by Turkish and Foreign citizens who are familiar with the city and its culture.
THE RULES OF COMPETITION:
1) You can only participate in this competition by submitting your work through the e-mail address provided below.

2) The participating work must have not previously received any awards or have been published in any competition. Otherwise, the jury committee has the right to withdraw the awards.
3) The designs are to be drawn in A3-Size to be delivered in 300 dpi and in JPEG format.
4) The incoming caricatures are first going to be eliminated by the pre-selector jury who will determine the 100 final caricatures. Final caricatures will be temporarily published on our "heute/bugün/today" section of our website (www.donquichotte.org). In this manner, we will be able to identify caricatures that are contradicting with the rules of this competition.
5) The closing date of the competition is August 15, 2010.
6) The jury, which consists from international well-known cartoonists, will evaluate the forwarded art-works from August 15th to 30th. Results of this evaluation and the award-winning art-works will be published on September 5, 2010.
7) The award ceremony will take place in İstanbul-Schneidertempel Art Gallery on September 15, 2010.
8) Participants of all ages can join in this competition with a maximum of 3 caricatures.

The International Exhibition "Monitorul de Suceava"

The Bucovina Museum Complex from Suceava invites you to participate to the International Exhibition of Satirical Graphic Monitorul de Suceava, the 4 rd Edition, 2010. The Monitorul de Suceava is important newspaper from Suceava city www.monitorulsv.ro .

REGULATION
The contest is open to all cartoonists.
Theme: CRISIS
Maximum number of works: 5
The works sent must be original, overleaf there will be mentioned the author’s data (the postal address, telephone number, e-mail ). Each cartoonist is expected to send also a short biography and a photo.Size: A4 (210 x 297 mm) - A3 (297 x 420 mm)Technique: freeDeadline of sending the works: August 20th, 2010Prizes:
Great Prize –1500 €;
First Prize – 1000 €;
Second Prize – 800 €;
Third Prize – 500 €;
3 Special Prizes – 3 x 300 € (each)

The varnishing of the exhibition and prize awarding: September 18th, 2010.
The catalogue will contain a selection of the most valuable works registered in the contest. The cartoonists who will find their works in the catalogue will receive a free copy.
The works won’t be returned, they will be included in the County Center for Preservation and Promotion of Traditional Culture’s patrimony.
