2ª Muestra d' Humor Gráfic de Valencia – A Terra em Perigo

La Unió de Periodistes Valencians (UPV) organiza la 2ª MUESTRA DE HUMOR GRÁFICO en colaboración con FECO ESPANA y el patrocinio de la Caia de Ahorros del Mediterráneo (CAM). EI objetivo de la Muestra es destacar el papel fundamental del humorismo gráfico en los temas que preocupan a la sociedad. EI humor gráfico es un género periodístico de denuncia y de compromiso cívico, que pretende contribuir a la reflexión y a la acción, despertando con una sonrisa la consciencia contra la depredación de la Tierra.
Bases:
Tema: LA TlERRA EN PELlGRO. Un mundo sostenible es posible.
No podemos continuar con la emanación de gases que deterioran la capa de ozono, la depredación urbanística, los vertidos de aguas contaminadas, el calentamiento del mar, los miles de millones de toneladas de residuos, el consumo indiscriminado de agua, la eliminación indiscriminada de bosques, la disminución de especies animales y vegetales ...
2. La Muestra está abierta a profesionales y aficionados.
3. EI plazo de recepción de las obras es el día 15 de septiembre de 2007.
Un Jurado formado por especialistas cualificados realizará una selección de las obras presentadas.
Los dibujos seleccionados se expondrán en la ciudad de Valencia, en el Aula de Cultura CAM "La Llotgeta " , durante los días 6 al 29 de noviembre de 2007. A partir de esta fecha, la Muestra irá itinerante por diversas ciudades. Finalizada la Muestra itinerante, se devolverán las obras a los autores/raso
El tamano de las obras será: mínimo din A4 (21 Ox297mm), máximo din A3 (297x420mm).
El número máximo de obras son 3, en blanco y negro o color, sin texto y en cualquier técnica.
Detrás de cada obra figurará: Nombre, dirección, teléfono, fax y correo electrónico del autor/a, así como el título de la obra.
Los dibujos tendrán que ser originales. Se aceptarán dibujos realizados de forma digital, firmados por el autor/a. No se aceptarán fotocopias.
Al finalitzar la Muestra y la exposición itinerante, se devolverán las obras originales a expensas de la organización, pero no las obras digitales.
Se editará un catálogo con las obras seleccionadas que se enviará a los autores/as seleccionados/das.
Las obras deberán de enviarse a: FECO ESPANA. C/ Cooperativa San Fernando, 7-8g• 46007 VALENCIA (Espafía).
És imprescindible enviar la hoja de inscripción junto a las obras y un breve currículum vitae.
La organización no se responsabiliza de posibles daños ocurridos en el transporte, ajenos a la misma.
Los autores/as que lo deseen podrán ceder gratuitamente su obra a la organización de la Muestra con la finalidad de que forme parte de un Fondo Documental Internacional de Humor Gráfico, el cual se creará a partir de esta 2ª Muestra por la Unió de periodistas Valencians y FECO Espafía, y que será depositada para su conservación, difusión y estudio en una institución pública valenciana. El autoría que acepte formar parte de este Fondo deberá de dar su autorización indicándolo en la hoja de inscripción. EI Fondo tiene como objeto la organización de exposiciones periódicas de carácter itinerante, la publicación de catálogos y la creación de un archivo documental internacional sobre el humor gráfico, respetando siempre la autoría y la propiedad intelectual.
La aceptación de estas Bases por los participantes implica la cesión de los derechos de autor a la organización, únicamente para la difusión informativa, la edición de los catálogos y la Muestra itinerante. La reproducción de las obras seleccionadas no implicará ningún pago por parte de la organización, ya que tanto los catálogos como en la exposición itinerante no tienen ninguna finalidad lucrativa.

Regulations
1. The contest is open to all cartoonists.
2. The contest will be in four categories:
A) Cartoon (Two Sections) -Theme: 1) Money ; 2) Free
B) Comic strip-Theme: Bad luck
C) Caricature-Theme: Free
3. The Prizes:Grand Prize: 8.000 $, Trophy and Honorable Mention (The main cartoon theme)First Prize: 2.000 $, Trophy and Honorable MentionSecond Prize: 1.500 $, Trophy and Honorable MentionThird Prize: 1.000 $, Trophy and Honorable Mention
The first to third prize will be awarded separately for each section of the contest.
The jury panel of he 8th Tehran Cartoon Biennial will also award 10 selected artists with Honorable Mentions. Special Prizes will be offered by various Sponsors, Establishments, Associations, Newspapers and Agencies.
4. A maximum of 3 works in each section can be submitted by the participating cartoonists.
5. The dimensions of works should not exceed the minimum 20 x 30 cm and maximum 30 x 40 cm
6. Comic strip must be presented in one page and without any words.
7. Only original Artworks are accepted, without any kind of frame, accompanied by the entry form and author's small biography and photo.
8. Quality prints of works achieved by digital tools will be accepted as originals as long as they are hand signed by the author, accompanied by the digital file of the artwork in Tiff format with 300 Dpi resolution on a CD. No photocopies or photographs will be accepted.
9. Name, surname, address, phone no and e-mail of the participant should be written on the back of each cartoon.
10. The choice of technique is free, color or B&W and etc.
11. The deadline for all submissions is 22 of October 2007, depending on the posting date.
12. The participating cartoons will not be returned.
13. All Cartoonists whom their cartoons are published in the catalog will receive a free copy.
14. The organizers will do their best to protect all submitted cartoons from any probable damage, but takes no responsibility of the damages caused by post or bad transport.
15. The organizers hold all the rights to publish the cartoons submitted to the contest and use them in any form.
16. Participants are considered to have accepted all the conditions.

Nature and Man International Cartoon Contest

The Subject of the year 2007: "Global Climate Change and Our World"
In the last 10 - 15 years, a new problem was added to the basic ecological problems of mankind. Its name is "Global Warming and Global Climate Change”. The significance of this is emphasized by expressions such as “a new atmospheric danger”, “now the fever of the world is rising”. It is believed that this process which is caused by human influence and which is identified as “artificial climate change” is full of potential dangers for all the living-beings and abiotic environment and this change is not reversible. It is informed that the artificial climate change is completely different from the natural climate change, which is taking place since millions of geological eras and due to this, all the countries are concerned about this matter.
Caricaturists Association, TEMA Foundation and Cartoon Publishing had organized this contest aiming to direct people for focusing more on this matter by describing through caricatures that mankind will sooner or later face these dangers and by focusing on their probable results and also aiming to create an attitude and behavioral change in the society in order to slow down this process.
The contest is open for all the amateur and professional caricaturists.
The caricature may be published or awarded. Technique is free. Works can be colored or black and white. The dimensions A4 (21 x 29.7)
Contest caricatures can be sent only through internet.
Awards: By the end of each month, the best 3 caricatures of that month will be selected and 20 saplings will be planted in TEKIRDAG Memorial forest on their behalf. An introductory sign will be erected on the plantation region.
The works that are sent to the contest will be exhibited through internet.
By the end of the year, those works awarded and those works to be determined by the selection committee will be collected in a CD and will be sent to the owners of the works as free of charge.
The caricatures of the contest, whether awarded or not, may be exhibited in the introductory announcements of the contest and they can be published in books, magazines, posters, postcards. Copyrights will not be paid to the owners of the works due to these publications.
In case they are used for other purposes or by third parties, then permission will be obtained from the owner of the work.
Those who send their works to the contest, will also indicate whether they can be used or not, in the t-shirts to be produced by TEMA Foundation's Economic Management in order to obtain revenue.
The utilization rights of the works are for Turkey.
The caricatures may be used in postcards for introductory purposes.
The artists participating in the contest will be deemed to accept all the participation conditions.
This contest is organized by Caricaturists Association, TEMA Foundation and Cartoon Publishing.
Since environmental disasters are continuous, our contest will also continue without interruption.
Exhibition: The exhibition of the contest caricatures that were drawn previously will be realized at Caricaturists Association Hall on 05 June 2007.
Award ceremony: will be announced later.

12th Salon Mercosur Internationall Diogenes Taborda 2007

Can participate: painters, photographers, sculptors, printers, humorists, etc.
